The chapel organ was built in 1935 by Casavant Frères of Sainte-Hyacinthe, Québec. The instrument is the firm's opus 1506, and consists of 29 ranks of pipes. The main organ and console are in the rear gallery, and there is a small echo organ above and to the left of the crucifix. The original specifcation can be found here. Several tonal changes have been made since the instrument's original installation.
In 2014, Patrick J. Murphy and Associates of Stowe, Pennsylvania (www.pjmorgans.com) rebuilt the instrument. The mechanism was renewed and the console was updated with the latest solid state technology. Existing pipework was thoroughly cleaned and voiced for optimal speech. Several vintage pipe ranks were added to allow the instrument to be more successful in leading congregational singing, accompanying, and rendering the organ literature.
